Service Description

In this class, you’ll discover how to make sourdough bread from scratch, learning the unique aspects that set it apart from traditional yeast breads. I’ll guide you through the entire process, including caring for your sourdough starter, mastering techniques like stretch and folds, shaping the dough, and incorporating flavorful inclusions to customize your loaves. By the end of the class, you’ll take home 1 freshly baked loaf of sourdough, 1 additional loaf to bake at home with step-by-step instructions, your own developed sourdough starter with care instructions, and a set of recipes and full instructions—including video support. You’ll also receive a sourdough starter kit containing a banneton, bread lame, and bench scraper. With everything you need to get started, you’ll leave with the confidence to bake sourdough at home!

Cancellation Policy

Class fees are non-refundable. Cancellations made at least 48 hours in advance may be transferred to another class. A 15% non-refundable service fee applies to all cancellations. If a class is rescheduled due to weather, participants will be notified at least 3 hours in advance. If unable to attend the new date, credit will be applied toward a future class.
