Service Description

Ages: 12-18 Skill Level: All welcome Get ready for a full day of cooking, creativity, and confidence-building in the kitchen! In this hands-on class, teens will learn foundational kitchen skills by making their own breakfast, lunch, and snacks from scratch—perfect for all skill levels, including picky eaters. Breakfast: Start the day strong by mastering the art of the omelette! Teens will learn how to prep and chop fresh veggies, whisk eggs, and cook their own custom omelette. On the side, we’ll roast crispy breakfast potatoes seasoned to perfection. Skills covered: knife safety, stovetop cooking, seasoning, time management Morning Snack: While breakfast is cooking, students will mix up a batch of muffins to enjoy for their morning snack—learning the basics of measuring, mixing, and baking along the way. Skills covered: recipe reading, measuring wet and dry ingredients, mixing techniques, oven safety, cleanup Lunch: Next, it's time to roll up our sleeves and make homemade flatbread dough! Students will knead, roll, and cook their own flatbreads, then top them with a variety of savoury ingredients to build their perfect lunch. Skills covered: dough making, stovetop cooking, flavour pairing, meal assembly Afternoon Snack: Cookie Bars To finish off the day, we’ll bake soft and chewy cookie bars that are easy to slice and perfect for sharing. Teens will learn simple baking techniques while having fun experimenting with flavour options and presentation. Skills covered: baking, portioning, oven safety, following a recipe, teamwork By the end of the day, each teen will leave with new skills, more confidence in the kitchen, and a take-home recipe booklet so they can recreate their favourite dishes at home!


Cancellation Policy

All class registrations are final sale. Due to limited space and preparation costs, fees are non-refundable and non-transferable within 72 hours of the class start time. Cancellations made more than 72 hours in advance may be transferred to another class, subject to a 15% service fee. The transfer must be requested within 7 days of the cancellation and applied to a class that is currently listed on the schedule and has availability. No-shows or late cancellations will forfeit the full class fee. If a class is rescheduled by the instructor (e.g., due to weather), participants will be notified at least 3 hours in advance and offered a new date or a credit toward a future class.
