Service Description
Ready to master one of the most impressive (and surprisingly approachable) classic French pastries? In this hands-on class, you’ll learn how to make choux pastry from scratch — the magical dough that puffs into light, airy shells with crisp edges and hollow centres. We’ll cover the science behind why it works, how to pipe with confidence, and how to troubleshoot for perfect rise every time. You’ll also make a silky smooth vanilla pastry cream to fill your creations, learning the techniques for thickening, flavouring, and achieving that perfectly creamy texture. By the end of class, you’ll have: - Golden, crisp cream puffs - Elegant éclairs - A foolproof pastry cream recipe - The skills to recreate (and customize!) them at home This class is perfect for beginner to intermediate bakers who want to build foundational pastry skills while creating bakery-worthy desserts.
Cancellation Policy
All class registrations are final sale. Due to limited space and preparation costs, fees are non-refundable and non-transferable within 72 hours of the class start time. Cancellations made more than 72 hours in advance may be transferred to another class, subject to a 15% service fee. The transfer must be requested within 7 days of the cancellation and applied to a class that is currently listed on the schedule and has availability. No-shows or late cancellations will forfeit the full class fee. If a class is rescheduled by the instructor (e.g., due to weather), participants will be notified at least 3 hours in advance and offered a new date or a credit toward a future class.
