Service Description
Celebrate the best of the season in this hands-on Farmstand Fresh cooking class, where we turn simple, peak-season ingredients into a vibrant, flavour-packed meal inspired by what you’d find at a summer market. This class is all about cooking with confidence, learning how to build beautiful dishes from fresh produce, and mastering easy techniques that make everyday cooking feel elevated—but still completely approachable. Together, we’ll create a seasonal menu that highlights fresh herbs, ripe tomatoes, sweet carrots, and juicy chicken, bringing out the natural flavour of each ingredient through smart seasoning, roasting, and simple finishing touches. What you’ll make: • Heirloom Tomato + Basil Bruschetta with Whipped Ricotta • Honey Glazed Carrots with Fresh Herbs • Herb Roasted Chicken Thighs (sheet pan style) What you’ll learn: • How to cook with seasonal, farmstand-style ingredients • Knife skills for prepping fresh vegetables and herbs • Building flavour with simple seasoning and fresh herbs • Sheet pan roasting techniques for juicy, flavourful chicken • Balancing sweet, savoury, and acidic flavours in a meal • Easy plating tips to make home-cooked food look restaurant-worthy Perfect for beginner to intermediate home cooks, this class is designed to give you practical skills you’ll use long after you leave the kitchen—plus a delicious meal
Cancellation Policy
All class registrations are final sale. Due to limited space and preparation costs, fees are non-refundable and non-transferable within 72 hours of the class start time. Cancellations made more than 72 hours in advance may be transferred to another class, subject to a 15% service fee. The transfer must be requested within 7 days of the cancellation and applied to a class that is currently listed on the schedule and has availability. No-shows or late cancellations will forfeit the full class fee. If a class is rescheduled by the instructor (e.g., due to weather), participants will be notified at least 3 hours in advance and offered a new date or a credit toward a future class.
