Service Description
Learn the art of creating a beautiful layered cake from start to finish in this hands-on cake decorating class! You'll learn how to fill, stack, crumb coat, and frost your cake before practising basic buttercream piping techniques to add those finishing touches. Choose between a classic vanilla or rich chocolate cake, then customize your creation with your choice of raspberry filling, tangy lemon curd, or salted caramel. I'll guide you through the techniques for achieving smooth frosting, neat edges, and beautiful piped details, with plenty of time to practise along the way. Whether you're a beginner looking to build your confidence or simply want to learn a new skill, you'll leave with your own beautifully decorated layer cake to take home and enjoy. What you'll learn: How to fill, stack, and crumb coat a layered cake Techniques for achieving smooth buttercream frosting How to prepare and use piping bags and decorating tips Basic piping techniques, including borders and decorative designs Tips for creating a polished, professional-looking finish No previous cake decorating experience is necessary. Cancellation Policy
All class registrations are final sale. Due to limited space and preparation costs, fees are non-refundable and non-transferable within 72 hours of the class start time. Cancellations made more than 72 hours in advance may be transferred to another class, subject to a 15% service fee. The transfer must be requested within 7 days of the cancellation and applied to a class that is currently listed on the schedule and has availability. No-shows or late cancellations will forfeit the full class fee. If a class is rescheduled by the instructor (e.g., due to weather), participants will be notified at least 3 hours in advance and offered a new date or a credit toward a future class.
