Service Description
Flaky, buttery, and impressive — puff pastry is one of the most iconic (and intimidating!) doughs in the pastry world. In this hands-on class, you’ll learn how to make classic puff pastry completely from scratch, mastering the techniques that create all those beautiful, delicate layers. Because puff pastry requires resting time, I’ll also have pre-made puff pastry ready so you can put your skills to use right away. Using the prepared dough, you’ll create a traditional Apple Tarte Tatin — a classic French upside-down apple tart made by caramelizing apples in butter and sugar, topping them with pastry, then baking and flipping it to reveal a glossy, golden, caramel-soaked finish. You’ll leave with a deeper understanding of laminated doughs, confidence working with puff pastry at home, and the skills to recreate this elegant French dessert in your own kitchen. Perfect for bakers looking to level up their pastry skills — no prior puff pastry experience required.
