Service Description
Join us for a cozy, hands-on cooking experience inspired by the south of France, where we bring classic comfort and fresh summer flavours together in one beautiful menu. In this class, you’ll learn how to make a traditional Ratatouille, slow-simmered until rich, silky, and packed with seasonal vegetables and herbs. We’ll pair it with creamy Parmesan polenta for a comforting base that feels both rustic and elevated. To start, we’ll also prepare whipped ricotta toast—light, fluffy ricotta spread over toasted bread and finished with simple, bright flavours that set the tone for the meal. This is a fully hands-on class where you’ll learn practical techniques you can recreate at home, from building flavour in vegetable dishes to achieving perfectly creamy polenta and balancing textures on the plate. By the end, you’ll sit down and enjoy your full bistro-style meal, perfect for a relaxed summer dinner or entertaining guests with ease. Whether you’re looking to expand your cooking skills or simply enjoy a beautiful seasonal meal, this class brings together comfort, colour, and classic French inspiration in every bite. What you’ll get in this class: • Hands-on cooking experience from start to finish • Step-by-step instruction for ratatouille, polenta, and whipped ricotta toast • A full French-inspired bistro meal to enjoy in class • Tips for storage, and entertaining • Confidence-building techniques for vegetable cookery and sauces • A relaxed, small-group setting • The opportunity to ask questions and learn at your own pace
