Service Description
Learn how to make tender, bakery-style scones and moist, flavourful quick breads from scratch in this hands-on baking class. We’ll cover the techniques behind perfect texture, proper mixing, and flavour balance so you can confidently recreate these recipes at home. Participants will work with one base scone dough and one base quick bread batter, then customize their bakes by choosing one scone flavour and one quick bread flavour from the options below. Scone Flavour Options (choose one): • Vanilla Bean • Blueberry Lemon • Cheddar & Chives Quick Bread Options (choose one): • Cinnamon Sugar Swirl • Lemon Loaf • Jalapeño Cheddar (or Classic Cheddar) I will reach out closer to the class date to find out your flavour choices. Throughout the class, we’ll discuss ingredient choices, mix-in techniques, and baking tips to ensure light, fluffy scones and perfectly baked loaves every time. You’ll leave with the skills to confidently experiment with flavours and make these versatile recipes part of your regular baking rotation. This class is perfect for beginners and home bakers looking to sharpen their skills — and you’ll go home with freshly baked goods to enjoy.
Cancellation Policy
All class registrations are final sale. Due to limited space and preparation costs, fees are non-refundable and non-transferable within 72 hours of the class start time. Cancellations made more than 72 hours in advance may be transferred to another class, subject to a 15% service fee. The transfer must be requested within 7 days of the cancellation and applied to a class that is currently listed on the schedule and has availability. No-shows or late cancellations will forfeit the full class fee. If a class is rescheduled by the instructor (e.g., due to weather), participants will be notified at least 3 hours in advance and offered a new date or a credit toward a future class.
