Bring bold, restaurant-style flavours into your kitchen in this hands-on Mexican cooking class where you’ll build a complete meal from scratch. This class is designed to feel like a fun, fast-paced taco night—learning foundational techniques while creating food you’ll actually want to recreate at home. You’ll start by making warm, fresh tortillas from scratch, learning how to mix, press, and cook them on a hot skillet for that soft, authentic texture. While those cook, you’ll build layers of flavour in a fresh salsa and creamy guacamole, focusing on knife skills, seasoning balance, and tasting as you go. The star of the class is Instant Pot Chicken Tinga—a smoky, slightly spicy shredded chicken made with chipotle, tomatoes, garlic, and onions. It’s a perfect example of how simple ingredients can transform into a rich, restaurant-quality taco filling while you focus on other parts of your meal. The chicken cooks while you prep everything else, then gets shredded and served hot for taco assembly. To finish, you’ll switch gears into something sweet: golden, cinnamon-sugar churros made from scratch and fried to crispy perfection. This is a high-energy, beginner-friendly class focused on confidence, flavour, and fun—perfect for anyone who wants to level up their home cooking with bold Mexican-inspired dishes.
Cancellation Policy
All class registrations are final sale. Due to limited space and preparation costs, fees are non-refundable and non-transferable within 72 hours of the class start time. Cancellations made more than 72 hours in advance may be transferred to another class, subject to a 15% service fee. The transfer must be requested within 7 days of the cancellation and applied to a class that is currently listed on the schedule and has availability. No-shows or late cancellations will forfeit the full class fee. If a class is rescheduled by the instructor (e.g., due to weather), participants will be notified at least 3 hours in advance and offered a new date or a credit toward a future class.
